Graduate from ESCP-Europe, specialized Master in Marketing Management for the Pharmaceutical Industry and Biotechnologies, and holding a Master of Science specialized in Biotechnology, Sophie joined AEC Partners in 2011.
Sophie managed more than 100 projects, in 20 different therapeutic areas, on several product types from small molecules to gene and cell therapies as well as medical devices; and across businesses ranging from primary care to orphan drugs and from breakthrough innovations (including Digital therapeutics) to biosimilars. She has a strong expertise in assessing the economic potential of assets and platforms and defining product and portfolio strategy. She assists HealthTech companies in defining their business plan and corporate strategy. Sophie has conducted several studies on the evolution of the need for jobs and skills in biotechnology, research and biomanufacturing; and developed a detailed understanding of the French ecosystem of innovative therapies and its challenges. She is supporting Biotech companies on HR management and organization definition.
Before joining AEC Partners, Sophie worked as a Research Engineer with Genethon – on the development of gene therapy for DMD patients, INSERM and Sanofi-Aventis specializing in oncology and biotechnologies.
