Florence Hammes

Graduate from the University of Strasbourg, holding a PharmD Degree and a Master Degree in Pharmaceutical Law and European Regulations, Florence joined AEC Partners in 2020 and has over 14 years of diverse market access experience in consulting and in industry, both in affiliate and Global positions.

Her interests and expertise encompass negotiation strategy, innovative contracting strategy, payer engagement strategy, value demonstration strategy and communication, real world evidence strategy, and pricing and reimbursement assessments as part of business development activities.

Prior to joining AEC Partners, Florence worked as an Associate Director at Biogen in Cambridge, USA in the Global Value & Access team where she was responsible for leading global level initiatives and programs including enhancing the company’s contracting and negotiation capabilities. She was also working on the company’s gene therapies programs. Before that, she has held several market access roles in France (Biogen, Boehringer Ingelheim, Publicis Healthcare Consulting and Nextep) where she was responsible for developing and implementing market access strategies for new and mature products to secure/maintain optimal pricing and access conditions.

Florence is French and works in English and French.
